Evergreen Health Insurance Program (EHIP) is Headed South to Georgetown
In July, EHIP will be leaving its long-time Capitol Hill home and moving south to the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. We will maintain a presence on the Hill within a new Client Services Center. With the two locations, clients will benefit from easier access to EHIP.
The implementation of the Affordable Care Act has led to major changes in Washington State's health insurance system and EHIP's role in helping persons with HIV/AIDS pay for medical insurance. The new Georgetown office will not only give EHIP room to grow to meet the needs of existing clients, but will provide a solid base from which to tackle new challenges as Washington's healthcare system evolves.
Our new Client Services Center on Capitol Hill will ensure that access to EHIP for clients in this and nearby neighborhoods remains open and convenient. Not only will clients be able to drop off documents for EHIP at the new E. Pike Street location, they will have the option of meeting with their Insurance Advocate at either location to discuss their medical insurance.
